When I completely gave up in volleyball Tony reminded me how much I not only loved the game but how hard I could push myself. He never once took it easy on me and pushed me to be better everyday. He was not only the best coach I've ever had but the most supportive. I've had coaches in the past get frustrated and give up, but Tony never gave up on me or any of his other players. He was always upbeat and helping everyone at club practices. His own skill and knowledge helped me improve as a player so much and I saw a huge difference from my freshman year to senior year after working with him. Coming from a home where volleyball is very well known it was awesome to be able to work with a coach that understood the game so well. Tony has been an amazing coach and mentor for the last four years I've known him and because of him I advanced my skill and even started varsity my last three years of high school!

Anthony may be one of the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to coaching and training individuals. I have had  the privilege of being both an athlete and trainee under Anthony's advisement. From the coaching stand point, I have played under 10 coaches throughout my entire volleyball experience and Anthony is definitely one of the best. He could watch a player in action one time and be able to critique the things you're doing right and the things you're doing wrong and would provide tips and drills to help fix the things that are wrong. He has a worked with a wide range of athletes, mostly with volleyball players, so has learned nearly every trick to making you successful in whatever aspect of the sport you strive to be best at. From a trainer stand point, I came to Anthony when I first started college and wanted to keep myself in shape, but had very little weight room experience. I joined the Women's Club Volleyball team on campus so I wanted a workout plan that would continue to help improve my game but stay healthy. He provided me with a program that was a mix of upper and lower body workout that continued to help improve my fitness level on the court but also throughout my life. If there were any exercises that I wasn't sure of, he was quick to provide helpful videos and tips to get through the workout. If you're looking for someone who knows the sport of volleyball like the back of his hand and can whip you into tip-top shape, Anthony is your guy.

Jennifer Sautter- Mother of Graysen

I knew my daughter, Graysen, was happy when she found volleyball after trying several different sports. With two years of playing club volleyball under her belt, it was obvious she needed to become faster, stronger, and more agile in order to compete at a higher level. We decided to ask Anthony to help her incorporate beach volleyball into her training. Just a few lessons later, she was diving, digging, and dominating! The confidence she gained in the sand was evident. Those skills she learned from Anthony ultimately helped her place second in her first beach tournament! From there, Graysen began strength and conditioning with Anthony twice a week to prepare for her freshman year on the varsity team. All spring and summer they worked on volleyball specific exercises to increase her power, explosiveness, and endurance. Her hitting became stronger, her serving more consistent, and her defense improved as well. She continued to train as she prepared for her third club season. As a result of the consistent training with Anthony, she made an elite level team. She now takes pride in her athleticism and rarely misses her scheduled training days. She listens to the advice he gives her because she has developed a trust in Anthony beyond their trainer/client relationship. He’s like her big brother. He shows up for her games when he can and calls or texts to ask how tournaments are going. He stresses academics over athletics and truly cares about her as a student and an athlete! She has gotten so much more than just strength and conditioning over the past 12 months with Anthony. Not only has she gained a friend for life, she now has the confidence to walk into any gym and know how to lift weights safely and effectively. She’ll use that knowledge throughout high school, college, and life...and you can’t put a price tag on that!

From all the years I had played volleyball, I have never had as much fun playing this sport than in this past year because of Coach Anthony. Coach Anthony was my second coach for my second year in club and I have to say, it was a great time having him as a coach. He showed me what volleyball should be, and how it should be played. He helped me gain mental knowledge about the game that I never knew before, and helped me run plays that I’ve always wanted to try. He was one of the best coaches I have ever had. He helped me improve more in a couple months than any other coach I had for a year. He has also helped me improve with the different positions I had to learn on court over the past years including: middle, outside hitter, and setter. The improvement on my setting over the past couple of months have been tremendous, since I’m not a setter, and that’s all thanks to Coach Anthony. Yes, Coach Anthony has helped me improve my strength and mental toughness, but he has helped me become a better person in so many ways. He helped me come out of my shell, made me more outgoing, and gave me more confidence on and off the court. Everyday, I think about how doing private lessons and weight training was the best decision I ever made. I gained many friends, some I consider even like family, and gained confidence, and learned how to respect people. Coach Anthony isn’t just my trainer, he’s my coach, my friend, and a part of my family. To me, he’s like my annoying older brother, but with being an older brother, it means he’ll always be there for me and help me make the right decisions. He’s always there to see me play if he’s able to, and will always text me after every practice and tournament to see how everything went. I couldn’t ask for a better coach to support me and help me along my journey.

My 13 year old daughter Maiya started doing one on one Lessons with Anthony this past Summer. Over those 10 weeks she saw a dramatic improvement in her skill level. More importantly, Anthony was able to give her the understanding of what she needed to do, to improve on her own.... and it motivated her to want to go out and practice on her own.

Anthony has a unique ability to help a young Athletes understand the basic Motor skills that are required to improve their performance. He does it in a way that was very understandable for Maiya, which gave her a tremendous confidence boost.

Maiya is currently playing Club travel volleyball with Anthony's 14 and under Iron volley team, and she looks forward to every practice. Anthony's passion for the sport is something that rubs off on all of the players that he works with. He pushes each and everyone of them to be the best that they can be, but does it in a way that makes the game fun.
